A personalized weight loss plan built around you
Compounded GLP-1 and Compounded GLP-1 + GIP are once-weekly injections that help lower appetite, reduce cravings, and support steady weight loss. These medications work by helping you feel full sooner and by improving how your body handles hunger and food.
Your provider reviews your medical history to decide which option fits your goals. If approved, your medication is prepared by our partner pharmacy and shipped straight to your home.
Compounded GLP-1 (Contains Semaglutide)
This option focuses mostly on appetite control. It helps you feel full faster and eat less throughout the day.
Average weight loss: Many patients lose about 1–2 pounds per week with steady use.
Compounded GLP-1 + GIP (Contains Tirzepatide)
This option works on two pathways instead of one. It helps control appetite and improves how your body uses energy. Many people find that this provides a stronger weight-loss response.
Average weight loss: Many patients lose about 2–4 pounds per week, depending on dose and consistency.
Important Safety Notice
Compounded GLP-1 Medications (Semaglutide & Tirzepatide)
Compounded medications may be prescribed by licensed providers but are not FDA-approved or regulated for safety, effectiveness, or manufacturing quality. FDA-approved GLP-1 medications containing semaglutide or tirzepatide are available.
When to Seek Immediate Care
Stop the medication and contact a healthcare professional urgently—or go to the nearest emergency room—if you experience:
- Severe or persistent nausea/vomiting causing dehydration
- Severe abdominal or back pain (possible pancreatitis)
- Signs of gallbladder disease: upper-right abdominal pain, fever, yellowing of skin/eyes
- Symptoms of thyroid C-cell tumor: neck swelling, hoarseness, trouble swallowing, shortness of breath
- Kidney problems: reduced urination, swelling in legs, worsening dehydration
- Severe allergic reaction: swelling of face/lips/tongue, difficulty breathing, widespread rash, rapid heartbeat
- Symptoms of low blood sugar: dizziness, sweating, confusion, shakiness, rapid heartbeat
- If this occurs, consume 15–20g of fast-acting carbohydrates immediately.
- Vision changes, especially in those with diabetes
- New or worsening depression, mood changes, or thoughts of self-harm
- Rapid or irregular heart rate
Never share your medication with anyone.
Drug Interactions & Special Precautions
Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide can interact with:
- Insulin or sulfonylureas (risk of hypoglycemia may increase)
- Oral medications (delayed gastric emptying may change absorption timing)
- Medications with narrow therapeutic windows, such as warfarin
- Thyroid replacement or papillary hormone medications, which may require timing adjustments
Avoid drinking alcohol while on treatment.
If you are on diabetes medications, discuss dosing adjustments with your provider as your weight and glucose levels change.
For a full list of warnings and interactions, review the medication packaging from the dispensing pharmacy.
To report adverse reactions, contact the FDA: 1-800-FDA-1088 or www.fda.gov/medwatch.
In an emergency, call 911.
Pregnancy, Fertility & Contraception
- Do not take GLP-1 medications if pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding.
- Stop the medication at least 2 months before attempting pregnancy.
- GLP-1 medications may reduce the effectiveness of oral birth control during initiation and dose increases (more relevant for tirzepatide).
- Use an additional, non-oral form of contraception for 4 weeks after starting or increasing dosage.
Medical Conditions to Disclose Before Starting
Tell your Everglow provider if you have:

- Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2)
- Pancreatitis, gallbladder disease, or liver disease

Black Box Warning
